Hey you, Welcome back to The Sunday Reset This week was one of those weeks that reminded me what momentum actually feels like. The runs, the family moments, the breakthroughs in the car, the SAVERS clarity, the winter arc setup… everything started clicking in a way that made me excited for what’s coming. And with December basically knocking at the door, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. Let’s dive in. One Thing to Think About This WeekThis week reminded me of a simple truth: your body can surprise you when your brain is doubting everything. Watching Madison run the entire 5-mile Turkey Trot — after barely running in months — at faster paces than she trained at… unreal. Especially on those hills. And she felt good. It reminded me of my own 30 days of running — the mornings I thought “Nope, not today,” but still laced up. And somehow my body handled it better than the thoughts in my head ever predicted. If you needed a nudge today: don’t trust every thought, but trust the part of you that’s built for more. Celebrate Your Wins
Productivity Hack of the WeekSet up a Fail-Proof Morning Hour. This week I realized most of my wasted time comes from switching tasks: finding a journal, deciding what meditation to play, choosing a workout, hunting for affirmations… it adds up. So I laid out my SAVERS like a runway: Silence → chosen meditation ready to tap; Affirmations → prompts ready; Visualization → a simple daily intention prompt; Exercise → BODi or Peloton queued up; Read → books ready on my desk; Scribe → journal ready to go. When there are no decisions, momentum becomes automatic. What I’m Into This Week
Life SnapshotFamily Moments: Thanksgiving Turkey Trot with Madison, Ledger in his little beanie, friends around us and hot-tub mimosas after. Dinner, football and the kind of slow, cozy day that just felt good. Minus the Chiefs losing to the Cowboys. Personal Wins: Fully built my Winter Arc — both digital and on paper. Started drafting a “big ass calendar” for 2026 with trips, birthdays, and fitness events mapped out. Real-Life Relatability: I wasted about 90 minutes every morning lying in bed watching dreams unfold like I’m in a sci-fi movie… except I’m not even in the cast. December mornings are officially reclaimed. One Last ThingIf there’s one message I’m taking into this week, it’s this: you’re always one action away from feeling like yourself again. Not one plan. Not one perfect routine. One action. Your Winter Arc doesn’t need to be flawless — mine won’t be — but it will be intentional, and that’s what creates momentum. Fun P.S.We hit our favorite food truck lot after my run, and Ledger was bundled up in full toddler winter gear… meanwhile I was casually running on nothing but a single Rice Krispy Treat. Elite? Questionable? Both. I devoured a yummy protein smoothie and a couple breakfast tacos to revoer. ClosingIf you’re building your own Winter Arc, reply with “I’m in.” I’ll send you the Notion template, checklist, and quick-start setup so you’re ready for December. (Or just click the link but you can still reply to this email because I love hearing from you. P.S. If you made it to the end, here’s a treat….. I made a hat. It’s something I’m pretty proud of. Hey you, January came in hot. Like “testing every system you thought was solid” kind of hot. Flu. Ice storms. Daycare closures. Travel. Early mornings. A knee that decided to speak up at the worst possible time. And yet… here we are. Fourteen days out from my first marathon. Still standing. Still trying. Still adjusting. This week was less about crushing goals and more about staying regulated, present and committed, even when the plan kept changing. One Thing to Think About This Week Progress...
Hey you, I’m writing this one from a week that asked for a little extra preparation, a little more patience and a lot of mental uhh flexibility. The kind of week where you don’t force productivity, but you support yourself through it. Let’s get into it. One Thing to Think About This Week Preparation isn’t fear. It’s care. This week reminded me that being prepared doesn’t mean you’re panicking, it means you’re paying attention. Whether it’s researching generators (cuz we did that), worrying...
Hey you, This week was a reminder that life doesn’t always follow the plan we set on January 1st. Sometimes you’re ready to go hard… and instead, you’re forced to slow way down. And least, that’s exactly what happened over here. One Thing to Think About This Week I had one of those quiet realizations while dropping Ledger off at daycare. The teachers were so excited to see him again after winter break. He was excited. And I realized, getting out of the house in the morning matters way more...
