Hey you, Before we get into anything else — thank you. Truly. Thank you for being here, for opening this email and for spending a few minutes of your life reading my words. That means more to me than you probably know. This little corner of the internet has become something really special and I don’t take your time lightly. So… I’m glad you’re here. Welcome to the first Sunday Reset of 2026. One Thing to Think About This Week2026 isn’t about better goals — it’s about better systems. Goals matter, yes. But goals without systems are how we keep starting over. This week (and honestly, this year), I’m thinking a lot about friction. Where does life feel harder than it needs to be? Where am I relying on motivation instead of structure? 2025 was the year of realization. Whether we meant to or not, it showed us what we actually care about. Not through what we said, but through how we spent our time. Our calendars, photos, texts and habits tell the truth every time. So as we step into 2026, the question isn’t just what do I want? It’s why do I want it, and what system will help me live it out consistently? Start small. Embarrassingly small. Lower the barrier so much your brain can’t argue. Cool cool cool? Celebrate Your WinsLet’s start the year with some honesty and gratitude:
Ahem… Wins don’t have to be loud to count. Productivity Hack of the WeekThis year’s biggest “hack” for me is simple: remove friction before you need motivation. Want to move more? Prep your environment… i.e. Shoes by the door. Want to create more? Templates, checklists, and time blocks — not vibes. Want clarity? Write it down. Then break it down. Then schedule it. Use tools. Use apps. Use AI. Let them do the heavy lifting so your energy can go toward actually living your life. One Last ThingYou don’t need to be perfect to start. You don’t need to have it all figured out to share. You don’t need to wait until you’re “ready” (And you shouldn’t) You become what you consistently do, not what you hype yourself up about once. Use the past as information, not a sentence. Make today feel good. Build systems that support the life you want to live. And seriously… don’t forget to have some fun. We aren’t getting out of this thing alive so what the flip are you waiting for? I’m rooting for you. Always. Hey you, January came in hot. Like “testing every system you thought was solid” kind of hot. Flu. Ice storms. Daycare closures. Travel. Early mornings. A knee that decided to speak up at the worst possible time. And yet… here we are. Fourteen days out from my first marathon. Still standing. Still trying. Still adjusting. This week was less about crushing goals and more about staying regulated, present and committed, even when the plan kept changing. One Thing to Think About This Week Progress...
Hey you, I’m writing this one from a week that asked for a little extra preparation, a little more patience and a lot of mental uhh flexibility. The kind of week where you don’t force productivity, but you support yourself through it. Let’s get into it. One Thing to Think About This Week Preparation isn’t fear. It’s care. This week reminded me that being prepared doesn’t mean you’re panicking, it means you’re paying attention. Whether it’s researching generators (cuz we did that), worrying...
Hey you, This week was a reminder that life doesn’t always follow the plan we set on January 1st. Sometimes you’re ready to go hard… and instead, you’re forced to slow way down. And least, that’s exactly what happened over here. One Thing to Think About This Week I had one of those quiet realizations while dropping Ledger off at daycare. The teachers were so excited to see him again after winter break. He was excited. And I realized, getting out of the house in the morning matters way more...
