A Missing Lug Nut, Early Wake-Ups, and Little Life Lessons

Hey there, friend!

Another week, another whirlwind of little life lessons—some came from missing lug nuts, others from baby teething adventures. It’s funny how everyday challenges can teach us big truths about priorities, patience, and self-discovery. Let’s dig into it!

One Thing to Think About This Week

Are you more willing to tackle something when it’s absolutely urgent instead of just important? Whether it’s a nagging task, a tough conversation you’ve been putting off, or that figurative (or literal) missing lug nut, maybe this is the week to handle it before it becomes a crisis.

Celebrate Your Wins

  • It might sound small, but addressing my missing lug nut felt like a big sigh of relief. Safety first!
  • I’ve been challenging myself to create content that reflects who I truly am, rather than chasing trends. Here’s to rediscovering that spark that inspired me in the first place. Here's my first video on this path.

Small or big, a win is a win—don’t forget to give yours a little applause.

Productivity Hack of the Week

I’ve been loving the Meco app. It’s a standalone tool that finds all those newsletters you originally subscribed to in Gmail, hides them away in a special label, and displays them neatly in the Meco app when you’re ready. I often use Meco to read newsletters in my spare moments—without getting sucked into the dopamine hit of social media. If clutter-free reading sounds like your jam, definitely give it a try.

What I’m Into This Week

  • Book: Rich Dad Poor Dad. I haven’t started it yet, but it’s been recommended so many times that I’m taking it as a sign.
  • App/Tech: Obviously, Meco (see above).
  • Podcast: Jim Fortin. If you want to understand why you are the way you are in short 20 minute Podcasts, break free from limiting stories, and become who you’re truly capable of being—this one’s a must-listen.

Life Snapshot

This week was a juggle of real-life moments—like discovering that missing lug nut (and the rush to fix it), dealing with early 5am baby wake-ups, and navigating teething troubles galore. There were spontaneous wine nights with friends, late-night TikTok shenanigans, and the excitement of seeing our besties new gym project come to life. You can follow along their journey here. I also had the chance to share my story through an interview with Voyage Austin, which reminded me how far I’ve come and how important it is to celebrate each step of the journey.

One Last Thing

Sometimes we put off what needs to be done until it’s screaming for attention. This week, ask yourself: what conversation, project, or personal goal have you been avoiding because it’s uncomfortable or inconvenient? Maybe it’s time to face it head-on—no lug nuts missing.

Fun P.S.

A random highlight? That spur-of-the-moment TikTok trend attempt Madison and Katie made! I was sure someone was going to get hurt while Madison is trying to literally climb on Katie feet to feet, floor to ceiling. It was definitely chaotic, but it brought so many laughs and zero regrets. Obvs I had to record a behind the scenes of it. Sometimes, the little bursts of silliness are exactly what we need to keep life light.

Thanks for reading this week’s newsletter. Remember, we’re all just winging it in our own ways—and there’s no shame in that!

Until next time,
Trina

Hey you, Let’s have a real moment. This week was a mix of 3 a.m. wake-ups, messy routines, and trying to remember what day it is… But also? It was a week of showing up anyway.I didn’t crush every goal. I didn’t have perfect workouts. But I started stacking wins again—and that matters. Here’s your dose of the good, the gritty, and the growth this week: One Thing to Think About This Week Ledger woke up at 3 a.m. twice this week. Once Mads took the shift, and once it was me. And in those quiet,...

Hey hey, Welcome back to The Sunday Reset—where we reflect, reset, and gear up for another week of progress. This week, I did something wild (okay, maybe not wild, but definitely nerve-wracking). In my neuroplasticity course, there was an exercise to move around my house with my eyes closed. Sounds simple, right? Nope. It was WAY scarier than I expected. The fear of stubbing my toe or crashing into a wall was REAL. But it got me thinking—how often do we move through life without truly seeing...

Hey you, I hope you’re having a solid end to your week. Whether you’re feeling on top of the world or just barely making it through, you’re here—and that’s a win. Let’s dive in. One Thing to Think About This Week This week hit different. A friend of ours lost her husband—she’s pregnant with their second child. It’s the kind of news that stops you in your tracks. Suddenly, the endless to-do lists, the minor annoyances, the things we stress about daily… none of it matters. It’s wild how we know...
