You don’t need perfect. You just need this

Hey you,

Let’s have a real moment.

This week was a mix of 3 a.m. wake-ups, messy routines, and trying to remember what day it is…

But also? It was a week of showing up anyway.
I didn’t crush every goal. I didn’t have perfect workouts. But I started stacking wins again—and that matters.

Here’s your dose of the good, the gritty, and the growth this week:

One Thing to Think About This Week

Ledger woke up at 3 a.m. twice this week. Once Mads took the shift, and once it was me. And in those quiet, sleepy moments, I realized—this is just the season we’re in. Tired? Yes. Grateful? Also yes. We kept showing up anyway, even if it wasn’t pretty. That counts.

Celebrate Your Wins

I started a 90-day fitness challenge through the 90DayChallenge app.

After bingeing YouTube videos of real people transforming their lives in 90 days, I decided—let’s go. Summer’s coming. I’m ready to carve out time, get back into movement, and feel great again.

Productivity Hack of the Week

Inspired by Gymshark’s Ben Francis (who does multiple small workouts a day), I ditched the “perfect workout” mentality and started embracing micro workouts.

10 minutes in the morning. Walking during small breaks. A quick lift between chores.

Progress doesn’t require perfect timing—it just needs intentional effort.

What I’m Into This Week

The 5 Minute Journal – Finally cracked open the one Madison got me. It’s simple but powerful. Gratitude + affirmations = major mindset upgrade. I'd sometimes forget to do this in my main purpose planner, so with this, it's been a game changer.

The 90DayChallenge YouTube Channel – Total motivation rabbit hole with some amazing stories.

Pre Pump – Gave me a solid boost pre-workout without the caffeine. Helps kick you into gear.

Life Snapshot

Friday night, we took Ledger out to dinner and he was a people-watching machine. Just pure joy. It reminded me to be present for these tiny, sweet moments.

Also: journaling has been a game-changer this week. Five minutes of intention and gratitude changed the vibe of my entire morning.

One Last Thing

Progress doesn’t have to be loud.

It can be messy. It can be slow.

But it’s still progress if you keep showing up.

Fun P.S.

Ledger is standing all over the place! We bought toys to help him play upright and even modified the couch cushions to create a little support system in our living room.

He turns 11 months next week.

Wild.

Walking feels like it’s right around the corner—and I’m not ready, but also… totally ready.

Week in Review

Rating: 8/10

What worked: Starting the challenge, micro workouts, journaling

What could improve: Sleep (seriously), and workout timing

Until next time…

I hope you’re finding your own small wins this week. Even if life’s a little chaotic, even if your routine is far from perfect—your effort still matters. Keep stacking those little moments. That’s how the momentum builds.

Talk soon,

Trina

P.S. If this hit home for you, reply back and let me know. I love hearing what’s working (and what’s messy) in your world too.

Hey there, friend! Another week, another whirlwind of little life lessons—some came from missing lug nuts, others from baby teething adventures. It’s funny how everyday challenges can teach us big truths about priorities, patience, and self-discovery. Let’s dig into it! One Thing to Think About This Week Are you more willing to tackle something when it’s absolutely urgent instead of just important? Whether it’s a nagging task, a tough conversation you’ve been putting off, or that figurative...

Hey hey, Welcome back to The Sunday Reset—where we reflect, reset, and gear up for another week of progress. This week, I did something wild (okay, maybe not wild, but definitely nerve-wracking). In my neuroplasticity course, there was an exercise to move around my house with my eyes closed. Sounds simple, right? Nope. It was WAY scarier than I expected. The fear of stubbing my toe or crashing into a wall was REAL. But it got me thinking—how often do we move through life without truly seeing...

Hey you, I hope you’re having a solid end to your week. Whether you’re feeling on top of the world or just barely making it through, you’re here—and that’s a win. Let’s dive in. One Thing to Think About This Week This week hit different. A friend of ours lost her husband—she’s pregnant with their second child. It’s the kind of news that stops you in your tracks. Suddenly, the endless to-do lists, the minor annoyances, the things we stress about daily… none of it matters. It’s wild how we know...
