Hey you, Let me paint the picture: it’s 4AM on Memorial Day, and I’m chugging electrolytes, double-checking my gear, and eating a simple breakfast.” It’s race day. But not just any race— It’s the CapTexTri Olympic Relay - I’m on the bike. It’s Memorial Day. And it’s the day we lost Papa John. I carried him with me that morning. Especially when the temp dropped a good 20° and started raining with some crazy wind gusts. I was like, “is this you? Are you messing with me? Bring it. Let’s do this”. I pushed through so hard that last lap around the course. Madison, Ledger & Dree were on the sidelines, cheering me on. Seeing them as I rode past gave me a second wind every single time. And my team? We thrived. We showed up for each other. We strategized, we supported, we finished strong. I crossed that finish line in 1:34, after removing a brake mid-race, accidentally going the wrong way, and powering through 20-degree wind shifts. I was exhausted. Emotional. But I was proud. 🔥 One Thing to Think About This Week You can’t “future” your way out of burnout. Recovery isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. Make space for it before you need it. 🎉 Celebrate Your Wins
🧠 Productivity Hack of the Week When life is full, focus on one thing at a time. ✅ Clean one thing ✅ Write one sentence ✅ Move for five minutes You don’t need to conquer the day—just keep moving forward. 💡 What I’m Into This Week
📸 Life Snapshot This week was a mix of race day adrenaline, puke cleanups, quiet nap moments, and solo-parent strength. It stretched me. But it also reminded me: you can do hard things—and still find moments of peace. Yes, taking care of a sick 1 year old solo is a wild experience. Add 3 dogs to the mix and some sore legs. I ordered groceries 3 times just to test any and all the foods and electrolytes he likes. ✨ One Last Thing There’s something so awesome about being cheered on by your family while doing something hard. This race wasn’t just a test of endurance—it was a memory I’ll carry forever. It’s also given me the urge to do more challenges like this to test my body. To shoot for something. To be around community. Ledger randomly fell asleep on the floor using the blanket Pappy made him. I left him there with the monitor on, smiling at the full-circle beauty of it all. P.P.S. Want more? Hey you, This week reminded me that life is one big experiment—and we’re all just tweaking the formula as we go. Between late-night Limitless episodes, toddler-led Target trips, and prepping for my first triathlon relay, I found myself thinking a lot about capacity. Physical, mental, emotional. What we’re capable of… and how often we underestimate it. Let’s reset. One Thing to Think About This Week Are you pausing with purpose or just pushing through the noise? I caught myself mid-scroll the...
Hey you, Another week in the books—and this one was a trip. We’re talking Mother’s Day chaos (spoiler: I forgot a gift), podcast comebacks, tech meltdowns, editing marathons, a gorgeous wedding, and Ledger clapping his way through lullabies. And somehow, we still made it to the food truck park, sushi spot, and playground before the week was over. Let’s hit reset together. One Thing to Think About This Week Are you actually trying—or just going through the reps? This slapped me mid-workout....
Hey you, Whew—what a week. We kicked it off with some 3 a.m. drama (thanks, Ledger) and ended it with a lot of love, some deep convos, new plans, and a birthday vlog finally live. This week reminded me that progress doesn’t always look like big wins. Sometimes it’s a workout squeezed in before picking up your dogs. Sometimes it’s editing a vlog while your baby sneezes into his 12-month milestone like “what even is sleep?” And sometimes it’s saying screw it to your to-do list and just going on...
