Have.” Jim Fortin’s podcast reminded me how often we wait to have something—more time, more confidence, a better body—before we do the thing and become the person. But what if we flipped that? What if you decided to be the version of you that already has what you want, and then took action from there? It’s been a mindset reset I didn’t know I needed. I’m working on being the type of person who shows up for herself—even after baby wake-ups, a week of travel, or a missed morning workout. Start with who you want to be. The rest will follow. Celebrate Your WinsI finally sat down and revisited the goals I set back in December—and whew, what a wild mix of “crushed it,” “forgot that existed,” and “who was that optimistic?” But here’s the win: I actually enjoyed reviewing them. I didn’t judge myself. I didn’t spiral. I reflected, adjusted, and added new ones that match where I’m at now. We evolve. Our goals should too. If you haven’t looked at your goals since New Year’s, take this as your sign. Open the notebook. Dust off the planner. You might be further along than you think.
