Hey you, This week’s been a tug-of-war between everything: work deadlines, business dreams, family life, fitness goals—and honestly, just trying to remember what matters most. It’s been a little blurry. A little messy. A little… off. But something shifted. And I think it started with that 3.25-mile run (or that much needed phone call). One Thing to Think About This WeekWhat if the version of you you’ve been missing is just waiting for you to show up again? I’ve been ghosting myself lately. Not fully checked in. Not really being the coach, the creator, or the human I know I am. But awareness is power. And this week, I decided to stop floating—and start running. I used the Runna app, grabbed my Garmin, and hit the pavement. No distractions. No obstacles. Just me, the road, and the camera rolling because I knew I was making a video out of it. And for the first time, I felt like I wasn’t just running for fitness… I was running back to me. Celebrate Your Wins
Productivity Hack of the WeekMake a plan you’d want to follow. I used Runna to schedule my runs, but what really got me out the door was the plan to turn it into a video. That small shift—tying your goal to something exciting, creative, or public—can be the push you need. Need to do something hard? Make it fun. Make it visible. Make it part of something bigger than the task itself. What I’m Into This Week
Life Snapshot
One Last ThingIf you’ve been ghosting yourself lately—mentally, physically, emotionally— You’re not broken. You’re just waiting for the nudge to drive again. So here it is: grab the keys. Even if the tank isn’t full. Even if the road’s foggy. Because you still know how to drive. Right? Fun P.S.Ledger and I set out for tacos and coffee—but ended up on a little detour to our new favorite spot. He got starstruck watching someone play basketball (like, full-on jaw drop) and was just bopping around taking in the world like it was Disneyland. Watching him explore, light up, and just be is one of the greatest joys of my life. I can’t believe I get to call him my son (video pleasure here). If this hit home… reply and tell me where you’ve been ghosting yourself lately. Or better yet—what’s one thing you’re doing this week to get back in the driver’s seat? I’m right here with you. Let’s stop waiting for the “right time” and just start—messy, honest, and in motion. Talk soon, Trina 🖤 P.P.S. Want more? You can view all Newsletter posts here. Hey you, This week was heavy in the best way. Competing in DEKA Fit, watching Alex Bradley walk across the country, and feeling Papa John’s presence in our home—all reminded me: sometimes showing up feels like surrender, but it’s actually strength. One Thing to Think About This Week What does surrender mean to you? In DEKA Fit, my mind spun: why’d I sign up, this is dumb, halfway is too far… but by the end, I felt proud, strong, and grateful for my team. Then I watched the BPN Documentary:...
Hey you, This week was a mix of ordinary routines and big reminders. Mom and Kevin left Monday, and it was back to business as usual. Ledger had his 15-month appointment — still in the 90th percentile, still growing like a champ. Watching him learn is like playing Mario Brothers: level up, try the new thing, and occasionally need a distraction before the tantrum boss battle. That got me thinking… maybe that’s all life really is. Distractions, little to-dos, leveling up, and remembering the...
Hey you, This week was about presence. My mom and stepdad Kevin came into town for my mom’s birthday, and we kept it simple: family time, good food, pool hangs, and a lot of being where our feet were. No big agendas, just slowing down and enjoying life together. Phones down. More living, less scrolling. That was the goal. One Thing to Think About This Week If you’re not here, you’re there. We all know how easy it is to drift out of the moment, but this weekend we tried to really make a point...
